Who Rescued Who?
The Who Rescued Who Humane Society is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned and unwanted animals. We are a no-kill shelter, meaning that we do not euthanize animals that are not adopted. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a loving home, no matter how long it takes to find the right match.
We have a variety of animals available for adoption, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. We also offer a foster care program for animals that are not ready to be adopted yet, or for people who are not ready to commit to adopting an animal but would like to help out in a smaller way.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering an animal, please visit our website or give us a call. We would be happy to talk with you about our available animals and answer any questions you may have.
The Humane Society
The Humane Society is a national non-profit organization that provides services to millions of animals every year. They offer adoption, spaying and neuter, low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, and more. The organization also works to pass laws to protect animals from cruelty and abuse, and they promote animal welfare education.
Why We Rescue
There are an estimated 6.5 million companion animals entering shelters in the United States every year. Of those, approximately 3.3 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats. Each year, 2.6 million shelter animals are adopted, 1.6 million are euthanized (1.2 million dogs and 400,000 cats), and 35% of adoptable shelter dogs and cats are not adopted due to a lack of space (ASPCA).
We believe that all adoptable animals deserve a chance at finding a forever home, regardless of their age, breed, or size. We take in animals from shelters that are at risk of being euthanized due to overcrowding, as well as animals that have been abandoned or surrendered by their previous owners. We provide them with the love, care, and attention they deserve while they wait to be matched with their forever families.
Who We Rescue
The Who Rescued Who Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs in need. We are a foster-based organization, meaning all of our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted.
We take in dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities from high-kill shelters, owner surrenders and strays. We provide them with the love, food, shelter and medical care they need to get healthy and acclimated before finding their forever homes. We do not have a physical shelter location.
Why We’re Different
At Who Rescued Who Humane Society, we believe that all animals deserve a loving home. We are a no-kill shelter, which means that we do not euthanize animals unless they are suffering from a terminal illness and there is no hope for recovery. We believe that every animal has the right to live out their natural life, free from harm.
We also believe in giving animals the individual attention they deserve. We take the time to get to know each and every animal in our care, so that we can match them with the ideal adopter. We want to make sure that they go to a home where they will be loved and cared for as they deserve.
If you are interested in adopting an animal, we encourage you to come and meet them in person. We would be happy to answer any questions you have and help you find the perfect furry friend for your family!
